We would be delighted to welcome you to one of our services on a Sunday. In case you have never been to a church service before, here are a few answers to questions people sometimes ask. If your question isn't answered here, please feel free to get in touch.

What happens at a service?

Most weeks, one of our pastors (Jonny or Mark) will lead our service. During the service we read a passage from the Bible, then listen to a sermon, where Jonny or Mark explains the meaning of the passage we read. We also sing to God from the praise book he has given us in the Bible and the pastor prays on behalf of the congregation.

will i be expected to do anything?

Don't worry, you won't be put on the spot in any way. The pastor will clearly explain when the congregation is to stand or sit.

How long will the service last?

Most of our services last around one hour.

What should i wear?

Whatever you want! We don't have a dress code for our services - some people like to dress up, others don't. Just wear your ordinary clothes and you won't stand out.

What if i don't have a bible?

Don't worry, we have spare bibles and song books for anyone who needs them.

AM I expected to give money?

No. We do believe that since God has given us so much more than we deserve, Christians should regularly give in order to support his work. That is why we pass a collection basket around during our service. But nobody who comes to one of our services will be put under any pressure to give anything.

Can I bring my children?

Yes! We love seeing young people at our services and learning more about Jesus Christ the saviour. The service will often include a short talk especially for the children who are present. If you need to take your children out of the service for any reason, we have a room with speakers where you can keep on listening.

Where should i sit?

We don't have reserved seats in our church, so you can't go wrong. The easiest thing is to ask whoever meets you at the door to show you to a seat.
