Our Beliefs

Milford Reformed Presbyterian Church is founded upon the conviction that the Bible is the infallible Word of God and this belief expresses itself in our doctrine, government and worship.

We believe that

Jesus Christ is Lord of all life, the King and foundation stone of the Church, the Divine Son of God.
everyone is born an enemy of God and is subject to the wrath of God and the punishment of death, both in this life and the life to come.
Jesus Christ having died and risen is the only one who can save men from this punishment.
this salvation is received by turning away from sin, trusting in Christ to save us from its penalty and taking Him as Lord.
it is the duty of Christians enabled by the Holy Spirit to live a life which will bring glory to God.
Jesus Christ is the King of all nations and should be acknowledged as such by every nation. He is coming back to this world to judge every human being and to restore righteousness to this universe.
